The Task:
In groups of 4, discuss how the others see you, make a list of perceptions, identifications that describe how you see each other. Be honest and perceptive.
Write down a list of things such as how you perceive the individual, physically, mentally, socially etc, and gain as comprehensive a list as possible.
Then, take your list (about you) check out and see what the 'perceived you' is and how you evaluate WHY they say these things, agree disagree and write either:
A narrative of a paragraph length, or near, about you, based on the external perceptions, who they are. In any form, story, poem or anything creative and add to your PPP blog headed 'ME'.
Creative output:
Based on some of the qualities people perceive I have, such as experimental, creative, innovative ideas, and my blue hair, I produced these wildly colourful patterns using Brusho powders, to express these qualities. I then wrote the qualities inside the colour areas, in black and white ink, to see which stood out the most.
Initially I went crazy and used a whole variety of colours, however due to the amount of water I used, the colours mixed too much and started to go slightly brown. In the second attempt, I narrowed myself down to only a few similar colours, blue, green, yellow, purple, to avoid this mixing of colours. This has resulted in the colours being much more defined, however because of the more restricted colours, it doesn't look as crazy compared to the initial design.
This study task has been really interesting to see how other people perceive me, as some things that were said I wouldn't immediately think of myself as. This study task also provided the opportunity to experiment with Brusho powders, which I hadn't got round to experimenting with either.
