What do I find so interesting about iGNANT?
I love the content, especially the architecture category, how mainly everything they feature is clean cut and minimal, but with such style and innovation.

From this I can gather than Superiest is a creative studio set up by iGNANT that works on digital concepts and projects, such as films, photographs, GIF's, and web design. They have the same aesthetic as iGNANT so I presume they are all under the same house, but with a different name. It is also highly likely that they produce the website for iGNANT, what with them both having the same aesthetic for the website and due to the fact that iGNANT has Superiest under the Production tab.
VICE Digital
Vice is the company that produces iGNANT, as well as many other sites with over 500 publishers across the world. The sites shown on Vice Digital are categorised under country, and then by content, such as entertainment & lifestyle, food, sport, art etc.
"Our 500 premium publishers target a youthful influential 18 to 34 year old Millenial audience, from a global to local level. We captivate Gen Y across a broad set of passion points segmented into a number of different channels, which allows us to dive deeply into our audience interests."

"The world of iGNANT lives in forms, in ideas and in artistic expression. With the Internet spreading aesthetic standards have been a new rate, the consistency of an idea to get a whole new range."

What's interesting is that Vice also produces i-D, which in turn produces Amuse digital magazine, another weblog that is similar to iGNANT, only produced in the UK instead of Berlin, and that I have researched previously. Vice is proving to be a really big platform that is home to several products that interest me. |
Summary:
Researching iGNANT has been really beneficial to me as it has lead me to discover that Vice owns i-D which produces Amuse, which links these two weblogs together under one house, and shows me how they are connected. I will need to research into more sites that Vice produces to discover more sites like the two I've already found, and perhaps start talking to some of the people who work for these places, to start building up contacts here, as this is seeming like a great company for me to work within or gain experience in.
