For Studio Brief 3 and Studio Brief 2 part of the deliverables was to produce a grid template to use for my presentation and design boards, to create a consistent appearance of myself as an identity.

For the typeface I have chosen LFT Etica Display in Thin as this is the same typeface I used for my business cards and Creative Resume, so I thought this would create a very consistent appearance. I also think it works well as a title typeface because you can more clearly see the little details in it that make it different than a lot of other sans serif typefaces, but as body copy it is very legible and easy to read due to it's simplicity. I created three columns of information, as I thought this helped spread out all the information clearly, and made the maximum use of the space available, but also made it very versatile as well to any content I need to put on it. Captions always go above their respective photograph, with an 8mm gutter between them. The photograph should preferably fit exactly the width of the column, however depending on the photographs shape this may not be the case because it would take up too much space, so the largest possible size would be chosen. |
